Coming to terms with the fact that your child has brain differences that will be with them for their entire life can be incredibly difficult. In this presentation, Dr. Wayland will describe the stages of coming to terms with a diagnosis as described in Rita Eichenstein’s book “Not What I Expected”, including what each stage looks and feels like, the purpose it serves, and how to cope when you find yourself in each stage.
